Screening of The Last Class Film - a Documentary on Robert Reich
Details
Our friends at the OC Cal Alumni Club are hosting a special screening of The Last Class on Wednesday, November 19 at AMC Orange 30. Directed by Elliott Kirschner, this documentary offers an intimate portrait of Robert Reich—UC Berkeley professor and former U.S. Secretary of Labor—as he teaches his final course after more than 40 years.
The film explores the deep connections between education, critical thinking, and democracy, while reflecting on Reich’s lifelong dedication to teaching and public service. It’s both moving and thought-provoking, offering valuable insights into the role of education in building a more just and equitable society.
Following the screening, Orange County Atheists United invites attendees to join us at a nearby pub for an informal afterparty—an opportunity to discuss the film, relax, and connect with fellow community members.
