Volunteers Needed for 38th Annual Lobsterfest in Yorba Linda!

Ladies! Many of you have asked for opportunities to volunteer. Here's a fun way to make a difference! We need volunteers to serve tables at the 38th Annual Lobsterfest on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Yorba Linda Community Center @ 4501 Casa Loma Ave, Yorba Linda. The Yorba Linda Sunrise Rotary Club Foundation is hosting this event. This annual event is the biggest party for charity in Yorba Linda, bringing people together to celebrate, connect, and raise funds to support our local and international communities.

It features an all-you-can-eat Maine Lobster and Tri-Tip Steak dinner, dancing under the stars, and a silent auction for 1,200 guests.
Since our first Lobsterfest, more than $1.9 million has been raised and contributed to support various local and international organizations and programs, including local food pantries, people with disabilities, veterans
programs, and youth programs. The Yorba Linda Food for Families, Rising Above Disabilities Camp, Teen Challenge, Patriots and Paws, For Families of Active Military, the Guatemala Literacy Project, and Corazon
House & Septic System Builds are recipients of our support.

It takes about 200 volunteers to put on this event each year. We are short! Help! To help the Yorba Linda Sunrise Rotary Club Foundation continue this legacy of giving and our motto of “Service Above Self,” we need volunteers to serve tables. Afterward (around 8:30pm), volunteers will also have the opportunity to eat steak and lobster! Note: You would need to be physically able to be on your feet for several hours.

This is a lot of fun and it serves a good cause. Below is the link to sign up to volunteer. Each individual who may be interested needs to register.

Once your registration is received, we will have your apron and name tag ready when you arrive. Here are the details of the timing we will need for all volunteers at the event.
ON EVENT DAY
3:00pm Volunteer registration at front gate (please be on time as lines are long)
4:00pm Volunteer Big Tail assignment and orientation meeting (inside center)
4:30pm Gates open/greet guests at your assigned table(s)
4:30-6:00pm Silent Auction and Cocktail service (no host bar)
6-8:30pm Food service for guests (continuously replenish food & cleanup as needed)
8:30pm Volunteers may enjoy free meal at this time
**Table assignment, name tag, apron will be provided at orientation meeting.
Please wear closed toed shoes
