Orange County Free Concerts

Funk Station is one of THE hottest DANCE bands in the OC area. They are 5 professional, fun loving and committed musicians specializing in the “Old School” Funk, Soul and R&B genre, and dedicated to keeping everyone on the dance floor. Each member of this dance cover band is unique, extremely talented, and we collectively bring decades of musical experience to the table. We are THE funk band dedicated to the music, and making sure that you fully enjoy our live band experience.

On the Rocks has no cover. Free parking. Great food and drinks!

To find us: Ask for Tom's table. I have a table reservation at 7pm. Come early if you can. Will post pictures of the table and the group during the event. Band starts playing at 8pm. Most of us will be on the dance floor.

Ok to come along, you won't be alone for long. We are a fun and friendly group.

Nothing beats a California summer night watching the sunset at the beach around a bonfire with new friends! Join us for music, dancing, and make new friends. A beach bonfire is one of Southern California's most iconic experiences.

What to Bring:

1. Please bring something (firewood, snacks, dessert, side dish, etc.)
2. Chair
3. Jacket (if you get cold at night)
4. Positive energy (no profanity or name calling)
5. Byob (please keep alcohol on the down low)

I will get the fire pit at 7am on Saturday. You are welcome to come hang out all day if you desire. I will have a big Bluetooth speaker cranking from 5-10pm. DJ Papercut (Alan) will provide songplay list to get the party going. Once it is dark, we will put out disco lights to really crank the dance party going.

The exact location will be within walking distance from SeaLegs and will be posted on this page on Saturday morning. I will send out a pin in the comments when I get the pit approximately 7am.

Come for the mingling, stay for the music! Will cross post with other Meetup groups, so we may have a big turnout.

Based out of Orange County, California, the Tijuana Dogs have performed with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pat Benatar, Florida Georgia Line, Macklemore, Cheap Trick, KC and The Sunshine Band, Poison, Pitbull, 50 Cent, Flo Rida, and more.

They’ve played for a former U.S. President, Vice President, several U.S. Senators, congressmen and Supreme Court Justices; athletes Peyton Manning, Kobe Bryant, and Aaron Rodgers; Tony Horton from Beachbody and many others.

Parking - I like to park on Von Karman and Intersect. Parking is validated with any purchase.

Note: This is an outdoor event. Please dress for the weather. All ages venue. Bring the kids or grandkids.

How to find us: Go touch the stage. Then turn to your right. We will be on the benches. I’ll be arriving at about 6:30 to save as much space as I can but feel free to come early also and bring a blanket and/or low back chair. Once the band is playing, most of us will be on the dance floor. Will try to post pictures of the group during the event.

I will also be wearing my bright red Angels jersey.
