Micronaut

Details

This month, Armando Prieto Padron from Oracle will be telling us about Micronaut, a polyglot framework for microservices, serverless, and more!

We are again graciously hosted by LearningFuze.

Schedule:

6:30 - Networking
7:00 - Talk
8:30 - Dinner at Shake Shack at the Irvine Spectrum, followed by drinks/coffee/dessert at Cheesecake Factory.

Abstract:
Micronaut is a modern, JVM-based framework designed for building lightweight, fast, and efficient applications. In this session, we will explore how Micronaut integrates seamlessly with AWS Lambda to enable the creation of serverless applications that scale effortlessly.

Micronaut’s features, such as ahead of time compilation (AOT), dependency injection and low memory footprint, make it an ideal framework for serverless environments, reducing cold start latency and improving performance.

Attendees will be guided through building a serverless application using Micronaut and AWS Lambda. By the end of the session, you'll be equipped with the knowledge to leverage these technologies in your own cloud-native projects.
