We are excited to announce that concert pianist and international educator Aaron Petit will be joining us for an exclusive 2-hour masterclass and practice audit session from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29!
Aaron is a classically trained concert pianist with degrees from the Frost School of Music and advanced studies at the Colburn School and Seattle Conservatory. He studied under world-renowned artists including Mark Westcott, Mark Salman, Daniel Pollack, and Santiago Rodriguez, and won the George Gershwin International Piano Competition in NYC just before the pandemic.
Today, he teaches pianists worldwide through his Key Learners Piano Club online piano school and through his YouTube channel linked at the bottom of this event summary.
This is a rare opportunity to receive direct feedback from a top-tier artist and teacher—especially one who’s known for helping adult pianists grow with clarity, encouragement, and precision.
Here’s what’s happening:
Six members of our group will be able to participate, while up to 14 others can attend the session to watch and learn. (Because this is an educational opportunity, we request that attendance be limited to pianists. This will ensure maximum capacity to those who will learn from the experience.)
Participants can choose either of the following 15- to 20-minute sessions:
🎵 Masterclass
Participants perform a 3-5 minute excerpt of a piece and receive focused, actionable feedback.
- Please bring 2–3 specific questions about your piece (tone, memory, voicing, pedaling, etc.). The more focused your questions, the more you’ll gain.
🎯 Practice Audit
Participants will practice live for about 10 minutes toward a specific goal. Aaron will coach your technique and mindset in real time. This is a powerful way to transform how you practice—not just what you play.
Spots are limited:
- 6 participants (selected according to involvement with the group, and goals for improvement) – $50 each
- 14 observer spots – $10 (watch, learn, and be inspired)
