[Partner Event] SGVUX Design Slam: Design improv

Join us for a Saturday of creative problem-solving, strategic thinking, and a healthy dose of unexpected twists! The SGVUX IA Slam brings back a classic workshop format from the IA Summit, reimagined for our local community.

## ​What is a DesignSlam?

​The Design Challenge Slam is a hands-on role-playing exercise that tests your imagination, business acumen, UX design skills, and suspension of disbelief. Part design sprint, part improv theater, and completely entertaining, you'll tackle complex user experience problems while "clients" throw curveballs your way.

## ​How it works

1. ​We'll form small teams mixing various skill levels and personalities
2. ​All teams receive an outlandish UX challenge to solve
3. ​Your team develops a solution in just 45 minutes
4. ​You'll pitch your solution to the "client" (our planted actors)
5. ​The client evaluates presentations and awards winners based on creativity, practicality, and presentation
