ABOUT TECH STARTUP LAUNCHPAD
Tech Startup Launchpad is an initiative in ORBIT Lab to support the local tech startup ecosystem and student entrepreneurship by getting students and startups together to share knowledge, skills and experiences.

This event will be the second of a series of events focusing on tech entrepreneurship and networking. It is a platform where you can get inspired, learn from the experiences of others and share your own, and potentially join a startup or find co-founders for your own idea.

In ORBIT Lab, we work with entrepreneurship from a tech perspective. Our goal with Tech Startup Launchpad is to facilitate synergies between tech students and the tech startup ecosystem. The Tech Startup Launchpad events are open for anyone with an interest in the tech startup ecosystem.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER: RODRIGO DE ALVARENGA
Rodrigo de Alvarenga has an extensive CV. He has worked in major national and international banks such as HSBC, Safra and Santander.

He became an Angel Investor in 2010 by supporting three early-stage projects that failed and in 2012 by investing in a startup focused on energy efficiency for industrial uses based on R&D and a patent.

Since then, he has become the Director of Startup Grind, the largest global startup community in Brazil, that has more than 3.5 MM entrepreneurs in +140 countries and +350 cities.
In July 2015, he became a Professor at PUCPR Business School, also assuming the coordination of the Business Undergraduate Program (until 2016). He still teaches at PUCPR (graduate & undergraduate programs) and at FAE Business School (graduate programs) and also coordinates the newborn Research Group on Entrepreneurship at PUCPR.
