MATLAB for AI and beyond

Details

Join us, March 18 when a Team from MathWorks comes to us virtually to demonstrate how MATLAB can accelerate the pace of development in engineering and technology. Even if you have been using MATLAB for many years, you are sure to discover features and capabilities that you never knew existed.

REGISTER HERE: https://orbitlab.au.dk/events/matlab/

You will also get an opportunity to try out hands-on exercises in using MATLAB beyond your desktop. For beginners, explore how you can quickly get up to speed in using Machine Learning and Deep Learning for your projects in MATLAB.

For experts, we will showcase how MathWorks’ tools can help you in the entire workflow – from prototype development to deployment. This event also presents an opportunity to network with the MathWorks industry team to learn how they can support your startup ideas.

There will be a quiz where you can win some cool goodies!

PROGRAM
16.15: Welcome by ORBIT Lab

16.20: Setup of MATLAB on your phone and browser

16.35: Acquiring data + quiz

16.50: Modelling with Machine Learning

17.10: How industries use MATLAB in AI from prototype to deployment

17.25: Using MATLAB’s prototype IoT platform ThinkSpeak, deployment to common hardware platforms like Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, etc.

17.40: MathWorks support to startups and University Education

17.55: Q/A + Quiz + Wrap-up

18.05: Thank you for today

If you would like to participate in the exercises, please create a MathWorks account and install MATLAB Mobile on your Android/Apple phone/tablet. Otherwise, just sit back and enjoy the demos.

ABOUT MathWorks
MathWorks, the creator of MATLAB and Simulink, is a leading developer of mathematical computing software.

MATLAB® is one of the easiest and most productive computing environment for engineers and scientists. With math, graphics, and programming, it is designed for the way you think and the work you do.

Simulink® is a block diagram environment for simulation and Model-Based Design of multidomain and embedded engineering systems. Explore, test, and implement designs you would not otherwise consider – in a fraction of the time it would take you to write C, C++, or HDL code.

All students and staff at Aarhus University are licenced to use MathWorks’ tools.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Emelie Andersson
