Richard Dacre - Head of Development - APEX Evangelists

Richard is an IT professional with over 17 years of experience (really - even though he doesn't look old enough).

An experienced Software Developer across multiple areas, including PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports and Application Express.

APEX-Powered Infographics

Taking inspiration from Infographics used in the media, this session will run through how to create components that can be used to visualise your data differently. Using graphical design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and open source libraries, this session with cover real-time examples of designing and implementing customised visualisations to represent data.

Adrian Trotman - Senior Developer - Goldclipper

I have been a developer for over 25 years. I first encountered Oracle about 16 years ago, but really started working with it about 7 years ago. I started working with Apex in 2013, and I am mainly self taught. For the last 4 years I have been working for Goldclipper Computing. Our website says "Goldclipper are a boutique data consultancy. We love doing data and techie stuff."

Matt Mulvaney - Senior Development Consultant - Explorer

Matt is an experienced APEX solution designer having designed numerous complex systems using a broad range of Oracle Technologies. Building on his previous experience of Oracle Forms & PL/SQL, he is entirely focused on providing functionally rich APEX solutions. Matt promotes APEX as a software platform and openly shares best practises, techniques & approaches. Matt is a regular blogger and speaker abut APEX at several UKOUG events.

You will find cheap parking opposite the venue after 6pm. The venue is only a few minutes walk from Leeds train station so hopefully this a great location for all.
