UK Oracle APEX Meetup - Leeds - All Welcome

We are excited to be announcing our next Leeds APEX Meetup event and entry to this is FREE!

This event will take place on:

Wednesday 22nd January 2020 between 6.30 pm and 9.30 pm.

Whether you have never used APEX before, are a seasoned developer or a student, come join us for the evening.

This event will be held at The Adelphi Leeds.

• Paul Broughton - Jetting Up Your APEX APP

This presentation will focus on JET Charts starting with the fundamentals, such as setting colours, heights and axes, and exploring the range of different chart types available.

With JET, APEX has more chart types available than ever before. It has all the basic charts such as Bar, Line and Pie. Many additional chart types are now available in native APEX, such as Pyramid, Radar and Polar to name a few.

The presentation will then demonstrate how to extend your JET charts even further by accessing the JET Library to include APIs and other functionality.

• Nathan Catlow RECX - Securing Oracle APEX: Cross-Site Scripting Attacks.

Understanding the areas in Oracle APEX which typically result in security problems is essential to building robust solutions. This talk will take an in-depth look at cross-site scripting, undoubtedly the most prolific problem facing APEX applications today. The talk will demonstrate the security impact of insecure applications as well as required fixes based on real-world examples.
