Challenging: Spring Basin Wilderness Hike Revisit

Spring Basin wilderness is near Clarno, Oregon, off of Hwy 218. It's about a 2 hour drive from Bend, so leaving early is a must for this hike. The hike planned will be about 10 miles with about 2,500 feet of elevation. We'll be hiking mostly on lightly used trails and some off trail. there is a section we will be scrambling down some rocky area to get down to a lower trail. We'll meet at the Cascades Village Starbucks at 7am, please park closest to highway along east side of parking lot.
I can take 5 people, including myself.
With gas prices so high, please help out the drivers and drivers will have to option to require mask or not. Please be respectful.
