Afternoon Disc Golf at Paulina View

Let's revisit this ever-evolving par-59 course in La Pine. Expect hanging baskets, island greens and other challenges for novice and experienced players. We will play in our usual non-competitive style.

If you don't have UDisk, the course is a little tricky to find. At the south end of La Pine, head west of Hwy 97 on 6th Street, take the first right and look for the parking area after about 600 feet of potholes. Or better yet, meet at the south end of the Fred Meyer parking lot in Bend at 5:00 to carpool. Afterward, we will grab a pizza and a beer at the Wetlands Taphouse in La Pine.

You will need a set of disks to participate. Gear Fix and Big 5 Sporting Goods sell a disk golf starter set (driver, mid-range, putter) for about $19.99.

This is a recurring event at different locations usually on Tuesday evenings during Daylight Savings Time and on weekend afternoons in the wintertime (weather permitting).
