**The Big Loop Up Burma Road, then down the Summit Trail to the River Trail.**

7.2 miles with some good vertical up Burma road

* Moderate Pace.
* We will take breaks. This is not a race.

**The Route**
Starting at the welcome center we will hike the Chute trail, then across the bridge, then to the Wolf tree Trail along the river, then up Burma Road, then to the summit trail around the north side of the park down the back side to the river trail, along the River trail back to the bridge, then back up the Chute trail and back to the parking lot.

HIKE DETAILS:

* Meet at the Visitor Center at 9:00am. Visitor Center hours vary
* Hike Difficulty – Moderate 7.2 miles with some good vertical hiking up Burma Road, then the rest is down hill.
* State of Oregon Parking pass required $10 per day (Carpool and Save Money) or $30 annual pass $50 for 2 years
* Restrooms available at visitor center and on the river trail.
* Sorry No Dogs on this hike.
* What to bring: Sunscreen, trail snacks and plenty of water
* Clothing: Hiking boots/Trail shoes, hiking poles, backpack, appropriate clothing, Plenty of layers, rain coat.
