Afternoon Disc Golf at Cascade Forest at COCC

It's going to be windy this weekend, but should be dry enough to tolerate a round at Central Oregon's newest 9-hole disc golf course. Cascade Forest at COCC is a challenging course for both novice and experienced players with lots of uphill throws and tricky trees to deal with. We will play in our usual non-competitive style.
The course is pretty easy to find. Free parking is available at the Barber Library. Head to the rear of the parking lot and you will see signs for the disc golf course and a practice basket.
You will need a set of disks to participate. Dingerz, Gear Fix, Play It Again Sports and Big 5 all sell a starter set (driver, mid-range, putter) for about $19.99.
This is a recurring event at different locations on weekday evenings (usually Tuesdays) during Daylight Savings Time and on weekends during the winter months .
