Let's get back out into the woods to play a full 19 at one of our favorite object courses. This is a super fun course with plenty of challenges for novice and experienced players. We will play in our usual non-competitive style.

The course has a pushpin and can easily be found on UDisk, but avoid using Apple or Google Maps for driving directions. Instead, simply take Century Drive past the Seventh Mountain Resort and turn left on to USFS 41 toward the River Trail access. After just .3 miles, take the first left at the road to Lava Island Falls. Then go .2 miles and turn left again on the dirt power line road (before the Lava Island road becomes paved again). Follow the power line road straight to the end and park near the back of the clearing on the right side. There are a few potholes and ruts in the dirt roads, but you should be okay without AWD and a high-clearance vehicle.

You will need a set of disks to participate. Dingerz, Gear Fix, Play It Again Sports and Big 5 Sporting Goods sell a disk golf starter set (driver, mid-range, putter) for about $19.99.

This is a recurring event on weekday evenings (usually Tuesdays) at different locations during daylight savings time and on weekends (weather permitting) during the winter months..
