What we’re about
Join Oregon Sorcerous Realms (OrSoRe, rhymes with sorcery) and open the door to endless, exciting live tabletop roleplaying adventures!
Our focus is providing access to "classic games" at open-play tables stretching throughout the greater Willamette Valley area. We focus on systems that recreate the spirit of classic RPGs from the 70s & 80s, including Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), Shadowdark, Old School Essentials (OSE), Dungeon Crawl classics (DCC), Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (WHFRP), and many more!

Our goal is to give expose players greater sense of fantastic danger and epic wonder through exploration and agency. We aim for simplicity, creativity, and a DIY ethos.
Open-play games mean everyone is welcome to join and play, regardless of whether you have a pre-established character or are part of a regular group. Sessions are designed to be joined with little or no preparation, allowing for positive socializing, creative collaboration, and dynamic play.
OrSoRe RULES OF PLAY
- Respect the venue. Support the business and be courteous to the staff.
- Respect your neighbors. Pay attention to those around you. Avoid excessive volume, language and/or behavior that may disturb non-participating patrons at the venue.
- Respect the premise. The quality of a shared experience hinges on everyone’s attention; stay present and engaged! Share the fantasy and avoid unnecessary real-world contention.
- Respect each other. Share the spotlight and lean in. Engage honestly, create opportunities for everyone, and help everyone at the table find their fun.
- Respect the game. Whether you are a game master or a player, everyone is there to provide an entertaining experience for everyone else.
THE GOLDEN RULE
Play to make the game a better experience for everyone at the table!
If there is a conflict between what might be good for you (or your character) and what could make the experience better for everyone, always support the real people sharing the table with you.
