Those Dark Places is a rules-light, story-focused industrial sci-fi horror RPG that immerses players in the gritty, dangerous conditions of budget-conscious space exploration.

Players embody blue-collar workers on cramped, failing starships and stations, confronting corporate negligence and the vast, incomprehensible horrors of the void, drawing inspiration from films like Alien and Event Horizon.

The game uses a simple d6 system for checks, a "CASE" attribute system (Charisma, Agility, Strength, Education), and a "Pressure" mechanic for mental stress, all within a clunky, retro-futuristic 70s/80s aesthetic.
