What we’re about
This Meetup group is no longer affiliated with the US Pain Foundation or Pain Connection as of June 1, 2024, but the meeting topics and registration links for the Oregon meetings will still be shared here for the time being.
Living with chronic pain can be an incredibly isolating and difficult experience, regardless of age, location, or income. Studies show that people who experience daily pain are more prone to anxiety, depression, and even suicide. But it does not have to be that way.
These meetings are typically intended for people living with chronic pain, caring for someone with chronic pain, or working with the chronic pain community but all are welcome.
The Oregon peer-to-peer led chronic pain support groups (Pain Connection) currently meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 12:00 pm PT and the third Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm PT via Zoom. You must register for them on the Pain Connection website. More details and links for those meeting registrations will be sent to you in the welcome message.
Please note: You do not have to live in Oregon or Washington to attend these meetings, and the number of people who RSVP on Meetup will not be the same number of people who actually attend the meeting.
