Kickoff Org Topologies™ Oslo - Strategic Organizational Design

Details
The purpose of this event is to kick off a community of people caring about strategic organizational design.
We use Org Topologies™ as our foundation for a shared language and visualizations that make it easier to reflect on this complex topic from a system thinking perspective.
With strategic organizational design as a generic topic and the usage of Org Topologies™, we are independent of any other established method, framework, branded mindset, concept, institute, community, or anything similar.
The only stance expected is that we truly reflect deep on whether we are consistent with a specific strategic goal behind the organizational design decisions.
This group is neither dedicated to specific industries (e.g., IT) nor organizational contexts (e.g., R&D and product development).
That said, the founders' and educators' main background is from the above-mentioned industry and context examples. You might experience that examples are colored by this fact, but we want to include the exploration of this topic from other perspectives as well.
Some examples: a restaurant, a service center, a factory producing physical products, etc.
Agenda:
Speech by the Org Topologies™ Partner & Educator in the Nordic region, Steinar Haldorsen:
Title: "Why and How Org Topologies™ Has Been Helpful"
Workshop where the participants can get more familiar with the org design mapping template as foundation for reflections, conversations and org design decisions.
Who should join:
The key driver for joining should be your genuine interest in strategic organizational design. Naturally, this includes everyone with direct or indirect responsibility, such as CxOs, board members, HR professionals, R&D managers, legal experts, and more.
We also value perspectives and experiences from internal change agents, consultants, students, and other learners interested in organizational design from a senior perspective.
We welcome a diverse mix of people from various industries and organizational sizes - ranging from the largest international enterprises to small startups and scale-ups.
In this Meetup group, we primarily focus on organizations with majority private ownership. That said, if your organization has majority governmental ownership, you are still welcome to join. We simply ask that perspectives outside our primary focus do not dominate the discussions and reflections.
Welcome 👋
