What we’re about
A community of human rights (focusing on digital rights) activists based around the combined authority region of West Yorkshire.
We uphold human rights like free expression and privacy. We condemn and work against repressive laws or systems that deny people these rights, such as the Investigatory Powers Act (Snoopers Charter) and Digital Economy Act.
ORG West Yorkshire is one of 'Open Rights Group' local campaign groups; it organises visits from interesting speakers, interactive internet privacy workshops and film screenings. All are welcome, no need to be an ORG member to sign up!
