Dragon Boat - New Paddler Session

For those interested in learning about Dragon Boat or are a new member of “Organized Chaos” and wish to learn the stroke basics, here is a class just for you. Each person will get 3 free classes.

NOTE: WAIVER REQUIRED (see below)
All participants must signup through Meet-Up and sign the e-waiver (see below).
WAIVER: Mark “ATTEND” MeetUp and IMMEDIATELY complete the online waiver see the link below:

Online waivers are required and must be completed the Friday prior to the event. Coaches must receive verification that the on-line waiver is completed by the Friday prior to the event or you will not be able to participate.

LOCATION: Enter Latta Park and drive the main road to the back (2+ miles) - last parking lot at the end of the park road. Walk from the parking lot down the hill to the beach. Meet us at the picnic tables on the beach.
TIME: We will begin promptly at 10:30AM. Come early so we can get the boat loaded and get started. Please arrive 15 minutes early to warmup and put on PFDs.
COMMUNICATION: Make sure you allow our coaching staff to communicate with you via MeetUp chat as needed. Meetup protects your privacy but will send a message to your email via MeetUp. Your information is tightly protected through MeetUp so we will not have your email address.

EQUIPMENT: The boat, PFDs and paddles are provided. Make sure to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated. Shoes or sandals must be worn in the boat and will get wet.
ATTENDANCE: If you sign up to “ATTEND” and you do not show up then it is up to you to contact the coach(es) about your absence in advance. We will not allow you to participate in future classes unless we hear from you. Preparation for this takes time and resources to make this a positive and instructive experience so please communicate with us with any questions.
