Details

Come orienteering in Hueston Woods State Park! After your course, you can go to the Hueston Woods Maple Syrup Festival: tours are offered noon to 4 on March 1.

In orienteering, participants get a detailed map and use it to locate a series of "control points," like a treasure hunt. Suitable for all ages! There will be six different courses of varying difficulty and length, so there's one that's perfect for everybody. Free instruction for beginners, and if you want to try using a compass, we'll loan you that for free, too.

You can start orienteering anytime between 11 am to 1 pm.

Preregistration is recommended. Registration closes at 9 pm. on Friday, Feb 28. Link to registration form is: https://eventreg.orienteeringusa.org/eventregister/register/start/2024-25-trol-wars-15

You can also participate by registering at the event, but we only take cash.

Price is $10 for Orienteering Cincinnati members, $15 for non-member individuals and for groups of 2 to 5 doing a course together. $5 for youth individuals.

The event will start at the Hueston Woods Lodge.

Restroom facilities: Modern indoor. Event Center: outdoors, open-sided shelter.
