3D Origami Meetup (Introduction)

🐈‍⬛️ Why 3D Origami? Isn't all origami kinda 3D?

While regular origami is made by folding one piece of paper into a complex shape, 3D origami uses identical modules stacked on top of each other to create larger objects.

In this meetup you will learn how to fold basic 3D Origami pieces to create either a flower🌺 or a chick 🐣 model.

If you want to look beyond traditional origami techniques, this meetup is for you! No prior experience required.

What you can expect in our events:

***Mandatory donation (amount of your choice) **– this supports essential costs like the Meetup subscription and keeps our community thriving. 🌱 You can either submit a physical donation to the event host in person or make a digital donation here (and inform the host afterwards).
** *Please order at least one drink/snack to support Hermann Eicke for hosting us!
*** In-person folding practice for all levels – beginners and experienced folders are equally welcome.
*** Origami paper + model instructions will be provided. Feel free to bring your own favorite sheets or tools!
*** Photos may be taken for memories & our archive (Meetup, Instagram, Telegram) – let the host know if you prefer not to appear.

• Members with 2 no-shows (without notice) will be removed from the group unless a valid reason is provided.
