**John** is a retired professional whose career reflected his curiosity and adventurous spirit. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Carleton University, with a minor in urban geography, and also studied at Northeastern University in Boston.
 
He spent much of his career in telecommunications, working at Rogers and Bell, including several years as a technical instructor, where he enjoyed mentoring colleagues and sharing technical expertise. Known for his thoughtful and methodical approach, he took pride in helping others master complex systems.
 
Passionate about travel and the outdoors, John plans his own trips and once worked as a wilderness canoe guide in Algonquin Park. In retirement, he continues to enjoy exploring new cities and remote landscapes, always seeking out meaningful and enriching experiences.

**Ingrid** is a Mexican diplomat, currently in charge of cultural, tourism, and sports promotion at the Embassy of Mexico in Canada. She has extensive experience in multilateral, cultural, commercial, consular, tourism, and cooperation. A traveler by conviction and vocation, she has held diplomatic posts in Ecuador, Finland, Kenya, and at the United Nations. Previously, she worked in academia as editor of the Mexican Yearbook of International Law. She studied International Relations at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and earned a master's degree in Global Affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in Boston.
