What we’re about
Meet other local people who are interested in Orisha and other Yoruba based Traditions. We will discuss the history of the Yoruba people. Their culture, society, and the original spiritual system of Ifa, as well as the new world traditions such as Candomble, Lucumi, Santeria, and Trinidad Shango. We will also touch upon ancestor veneration, prayers, the Orisha's energy in nature, and tradition herbal medicine and healing, as well as other avenues pertaining to the religion. This is a family friendly group and everyone from beginners to initiated priests are encourages to attend, because we all have something to offer and bring to the table.
We only ask that all members display Iwa Pele (good and gentle character), so that we may all come together in the spirit of learning, spiritual growth, friendship, and brother/sisterhood.
Meetings are held at our member's homes. To protect our members safety and privacy, we do not openly broadcast their addresses on the site. For those that do RSVP YES and are serious about attending, please contact the moderators for the hosting members phone number so you can call for directions.
