Making genuine friendships as adults isn't always easy, especially in your 40s and beyond. Orlando Gay Couples is a social group for gay male and lesbian couples in committed relationships who want to build lasting, platonic friendships with other couples.

We're all about making connections that go beyond the occasional Meetup event. Think dinners at great restaurants, weekend brunches, happy hours, theme parks, theater, sporting events, wine tastings, bowling, game nights and much more.

Whether you've lived in Orlando for years or just unpacked your last box, we'd love to meet you. Our events are relaxed and low-pressure. Come when you can, bring your spouse or partner, and hopefully make some new friends.

About Us

We're Jeremy and Jeff, and we're new to Orlando! We're settling into Horizon West while we explore everything Orlando has to offer and figure out where we'd like to put down more permanent roots.

When we moved to Atlanta, we started a similar group hoping to meet other couples and make some friends. It turned out to be one of the best things we did there. Not only did we build friendships that will last for years, but we watched other couples meet through the group and become close friends with each other, too.

We're hoping to create that same kind of community here in Orlando. A group where people genuinely enjoy spending time together, discover new places and experiences, and build friendships that extend beyond our organized events.

A Few Simple Guidelines

• Couples only. This group is for same-sex couples in committed relationships. We ask that both partners join the group and generally attend events together.
• Friendships only. This is strictly a platonic social group.
• Be welcoming and respectful. We want everyone to feel comfortable, included and valued.
• RSVP responsibly. Many events involve reservations or limited space. Please keep your RSVP updated, and if your plans change, let us know in a timely manner.
• Get involved! Have a favorite restaurant, an event idea, or something you've always wanted to try around Orlando? We'd love to hear it.

What You Can Expect from Us

• Regular events. We'll organize at least one event or activity each month, with more as the group grows and members get involved. We'll mix things up with different activities, locations and price points so there's something for everyone.
• A welcoming atmosphere. We know showing up to a group where you don't know anyone can feel awkward. We'll do our best to make introductions, help everyone feel included and create opportunities for couples to get to know each other.
• A focus on genuine friendships. We're not interested in building the biggest Meetup group in Orlando. We'd rather build a community where people actually know each other, enjoy spending time together and make plans outside of organized events.

Ultimately, this group will be what we all make it. We're excited to meet some great couples, explore Orlando together and see where the friendships take us.

Our first event is planned for early 2027. In the meantime, feel free to join, introduce yourselves and help us start building the community!
