Details
- Meditation + Dharma Talk Every Wednesday Night, 7pm-9pm ET
Upcoming Schedule at a glance:
We begin at 7pm with a 45 minute silent meditation (sometimes there will be a guided one) and at around 7:50pm we will begin a dharma talk. Usually there is time for Q&A at the end.
All levels of practitioners, including absolute beginners, are welcome to attend. Support is available if you have questions. This weekly sangha gathering is hybrid with both online and in-person attendance available.
This Wednesday, Mindfulness of the Six Sense-Spheres (Also reviewing the fetters) talk by Peter Carlson
During this talk, Peter continues a review of the Fourth Foundation of Mindfulness, focusing on "The Six Sense Bases and the Fetters", describing how the mind creates a self in response to a sensory stimulation. If you'd like to get a preview of this topic, here's a recording from Peter's talk six years ago on it. We have a wonderful archive of previous talks, guided meditations, and retreat talks on our audio page. Reach out to us if you need guidance on how these could be useful for self-study or self-retreat at home. We look forward to seeing you soon.
