As developers, we spend vast amounts of time learning new frameworks, languages and other technical skills, but we often pay little to no attention to communication and leadership skills. Yet we wonder at times why we don’t have the influence (or maybe even career trajectory) we think we should have given our skill sets. In this talk, we’ll look some tip, tricks and resources we can use today to start learning how to effectively communicate and lead, regardless of what our title is.

About the Speaker:
Tim Lentine is a technologist and software developer based in Orlando with ties to New England. He primarily works with .NET, SQL Server, JavaScript, and anything Azure related, but he has been known to dabble in Python. In his “free time” he volunteers with the Orlando .NET User Group and the annual Orlando Codecamp.
