David Hume (1711-1776) was a Scottish philosopher who was naturally skeptical about the world. He also examined human psychology. This week, we’ll read Massimo’s article on David Hume and gain insights on his scientific mind. We’ll also see how Hume had mixed feelings about Stoicism. This will be a fascinating discussion! In general, Stoicism teaches us how to handle difficult people and events, how to avoid anger and worry, and overall to use moderation in all aspects of our lives.
