Orlando Philosophy Field Day
Friday, July 24, 2026 | 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Mead Botanical Garden | Orlando, FL
Free and open to the public

Join us for Orlando Philosophy Field Day, an outdoor evening of big questions, fun games, and thoughtful conversation at Mead Botanical Garden.

This event is designed for anyone who enjoys thinking, discussing, questioning, or simply meeting curious people. No philosophy background is required. Whether you are brand new to philosophy or have been reading Plato, the Stoics, Nietzsche, critical theory, or modern ethics for years, this gathering is meant to be accessible, social, and engaging.
We will spend the evening exploring ideas through casual discussion, group activities, and conversation prompts. Expect a relaxed atmosphere where people can reflect, ask questions, share perspectives, and connect with others who enjoy meaningful dialogue.

What to expect:

  • Big philosophical questions
  • Fun games and activities
  • Open conversations
  • New perspectives
  • Community and connection
  • A welcoming space for beginners and experienced readers alike

This event is a collaboration between The Optimistic Nihilism Social Club, Orlando Stoics, Philosophy for Everyday Life, and Critical Theory Reading Group–Orlando.
Bring yourself, your curiosity, and a willingness to think, play, and discover.

Philosophy is for everyone!
