🌟 What’s the event about ?

This event is a simulation of two separate Insider attack scenarios which will exercise your understanding, knowledge and decision making.
Insider threats, a priority of the Northern WARP, is an area of cybersecurity that poses a significant risk to the security and confidentiality of sensitive information.

This Northern WARP event complements the series of three training sessions on Insider Attack that was delivered by Arculus Cyber Security in Feb-Mar 2024.

You do not have to have attended any of the training sessions as a pre-requisite to attend this WARGame. However, those that did attend the training sessions will find this opportunity useful to apply theory learned during the training courses in simulated practice.

🔍 What to Expect ?

The event is divided into two sessions. The early morning session focuses on a 'disgruntled employee' scenario. In this scenario, a trusted employee with access to confidential data is exfiltarting this data to an external source during and outside of regular business hours.

The late morning session focuses on a 'malicious contractor' scenario. In this scenario, a third-party contractor or agency worker with temporary privileged access acts maliciously.
