We’re a creative community of video professionals and storytellers based in the Orlando area. Our mission is to connect local talent, share knowledge, and grow together through hands-on experiences and real conversations.

Our events are hosted at the Melrose Center inside the Orlando Public Library (2nd floor, 101 E. Central Blvd). The Melrose Center features a professional video studio with chromakey backgrounds, multiple editing bays, and all the tools you need to bring your vision to life. Virtual Production Fundamentals using Mars CamTrack and Unreal

This workshop offers a hands-on guide to calibrating, connecting, and synchronizing a virtual camera with a real-world camera using the Vive Mars CamTrack system and Unreal Engine.

- System setup: Connect the Vive Mars hub, Base Stations, and Rover unit, and establish the network connection to your PC.
- Unreal Engine integration: Add Vive Mars as a Live Link source and ensure tracking data is being received reliably.
- Camera and lens calibration:
- Learn how to use the Mars Calibration Kit and accompanying Camera Calibration Tool to capture lens distortion.
- Create a reusable lens file asset within Unreal Engine based on your captured data.
- Calibrate the crucial nodal point offset for accurate parallax.
