The city of Elturel is gone, leaving only a smoking crater behind. A young child acolyte of Ilmater is helping to organize survivors and refugees named Dara explains she believes Elturel has been ripped from the face of Toril and been transported to the first level of the hells, Avernus. There is nothing to be done for that now, but the refugees need assistance.

The party is currently helping find survivors and collect supplies for the caravan that is forming to take refugees to Baldur's Gate. After this, the journey to Baldur's Gate begins.
