Millions of people hike the Appalachian Trail (AT) each year, but only about 1% aspire to hike the entire length of 2,180 miles.
Whether you strive to become a "one-percenter" or not, this seminar will increase your hiking IQ. AT Thru-hiker Brian Burlingame will share the tips and tricks he's learned after hiking (and backpacking) thousands of miles. A question and answer period will follow the seminar.
Brian "Greyhound" Burlingame has earned the title, Triple Crowner, by thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, the Continental Divide Trail and the Appalachian Trail. In Wekiwa Springs State Park alone, Brian has hiked and run well over 7,500 miles. He's visited nearly all the National Parks, along with being well-read and experienced in practically every subject pertaining to hiking and backpacking.
What you'll learn:
- History of the Appalachian Trail
