RUMBA - Beginner Dance Class

This week’s Rumba class is led by Viorel Ionita, a competitive dancer in both the collegiate circuit and international styles of Standard and Latin, bringing his boundless energy and wealth of experience to Daytona Beach.

Since 2011, Viorel has enriched the lives of dancers with his unparalleled skill and infectious enthusiasm, sharing his knowledge not just on the dance floor but also as a mentor and source of inspiration.

Rumba - is a passionate ballroom dance nicknamed the "Dance of Love," originated in Cuba. It features slow, romantic music with a Latin beat. Partners sway with close connection, using elegant hip movements and a distinctive footwork pattern.
