What we’re about
Orono Women's circle where children are WELCOME! This bi-weekly, in-person meet up is facilitated by registered counsellor Dione Rousseau. This is an initiative to create "The Village" that we, as mothers and parents, long for and our culture is now so disconnected from.
These bi-weekly meetings are hosted at my home, are 3 hours long and entail womyn connecting in a sacred and safe container while babies and littles in tow can be with their mamas in circle and/or children can play with each other with toys and activities available to them while the mamas connect, reflect, commiserate and feel supported and in solidarity with one another.
My goal is to create deep and meaningful connections with like-minded womyn, mothers with their children and found a community that we can rest in, feel supported and seen, have fun, laugh and heal and grow together.
