Looking for Lichen

We'll take a leisurely-paced 4.5 mile hike to take a closer look at some of the preserves lichen colonies and discover how these often overlooked organisms thrive and the ways they contribute to a healthy environment. This is a gentle stroll to explore the wonderful world of lichens. Feel free to bring identification guides, magnifying glasses and don't forget your camera. Some of these are amazing!

Due to the higher attendance we ask that you please park in the overflow lot up the dirt road and walk down to meet us at the table in the shade next to the restroom. We'll be leaving from there.
