Hey! How would you like to bring your kids and friends and help us do some research disguised as FUN?! iNaturalist is a free app that you can download to your ipad, iphone or droid. This app helps nature enthusiasts keep track of all the plants and animals that are in any given area. OSA has decided to have our own project so that visitors can help us keep track of the critters in our park.

Come to this activity and we will teach you how to use the app. We'll bring activities and games and plenty of things to keep kids and families busy while we go all around the park with our nature experts and look for things to make observations of in the iNaturalist app. You will hel us figure out how many of each critter we have, where they like to hang out, and in the future we will be able to compare notes and see if they are moving or just fine where they are.

If you're likely to go on a hike, or take the kids for a walk, then you are likely to see chipmunks, or deer, or even a bobcat or fox! We also have really cool lizards and skins and all kinds of interesting things. So why not come out and help us figure this out? You'd be recording nature info for posterity! Besides that, it's fun!
