Good morning! It looks like most of the rain will arrive after 4 p.m., according to the forecast, so I’m going ahead with the meetup. I’ll be there from 9 a.m., and I’m asking everyone, if possible, to come earlier rather than at 11 a.m. to take advantage of the better weather.

We’re excited to invite you to a fun, family-friendly BBQ gathering at Hamadera Park (浜寺公園) on May 3rd!

This time, we’ll be joining another group, playnlearnenglish.com, for a lively day outdoors.

Please note that each group will be managed separately, so our meetup will still run independently while sharing the same space.

Most of the children attending will be under 10 years old, but older family members are very welcome to join.

For this event, you have three options:

1. Bring Your Own Food/BBQ
Bring your own food/BBQ equipment

2. Shared Food Option
I will prepare food, drinks (non-alcoholic), and snacks for everyone. Families choosing this option will pay a participation fee.

### Shared Food & Fee Details

*Please note: The final menu may be adjusted slightly depending on the number of participants.

We’ll have a great selection of food prepared for everyone to enjoy, including:

• Grilled salmon
• Yakiniku beef
• Samgyeopsal (Korean pork belly)
• Chicken skewers
• Hot dogs

Plus, I'll be making

• 🔥 S’mores

Drinks provided:
Apple juice, orange juice, soda, milk, and water

### 💰 Participation Fees

The fee covers all food, drinks, and utensils:

• 2,000 JPY per (Ages 16 and over)
• 500 JPY per (Ages 4–15, must be accompanied by a paying adult)
• Free (Ages 1–3, must be accompanied by a paying adult)

### 💳 Payment Information

• Payment can be made via the PayPay app
• After you RSVP, I will confirm whether you’d like to join the shared food option. If you opt in, a PayPay payment link will be sent to you through the Meetup message system
• Payment deadline: April 30

If you need to use another payment method, please message me through Meetup and we’ll arrange it.

### ⚠️ Cancellation Policy

No cancellations or refunds after payment.

If the event is canceled due to rain or unforeseen circumstances on the host’s side, full refunds will be issued.

I’ll also be monitoring the weather. If it rains, the event may be canceled. Updates will be posted in the comments at the bottom of this page.

### What to Bring

• Feel free to bring your own food and drinks. If you’d like to cook, please also bring your own BBQ equipment.
  (or choose the shared food option for a fee)
• Sunscreen
• Your own picnic blanket or sheet (recommended)
• Tent / pop-up tent (optional, as it may be very sunny)

I will bring a large blue picnic sheet, but space may be limited, so bringing your own is recommended.

There is a playground nearby where kids can play together, making this a fun and relaxed meetup for everyone.

英語と日本語の交流を楽しめる、ファミリー向けBBQイベントを開催します！
5月3日に浜寺公園で行います。

今回は、playnlearnenglish.comのグループと合同で、にぎやかに開催予定です。
なお、それぞれのグループは別々に運営されますので、同じ場所を共有しながらも、当ミートアップは独立して行います。
参加するお子様は10歳以下が中心ですが、ご家族の年齢に関わらずどなたでも歓迎です。

① 持ち込み（食材・BBQ）
ご自身で食材やBBQ機材をご持参ください。
② 共有フードプラン
主催者が食事・飲み物（ノンアルコール）・軽食を用意します。
こちらを選択される場合は参加費が必要です。
③ レンタルサービス利用

お支払い後のキャンセル・返金はできません。
ただし、雨天や主催者側の都合による中止の場合は、全額返金いたします。
