Language Exchange & Hiking at 金剛山

金剛山 is the one of the most famous mountains in the Kansai area. In this event, we will hike through the 千早本道.

This is not a hiking event for experts but a mini language exchange program while enjoying the fresh air for the biginners. We may take 2 hours to reach the mountaintop at a slow pace. If any attendee feels uncomfortable, we will stop hiking and return immediately. So feel free to join us even you have never tried hiking before! However, be prepared to speak a lot, either in English or in Japanese.
このイベントはエキスパート向けではなく、初心者向けのミニ語学交換プログラムです。2時間かかてゆっくり登りましょう。参加者が機嫌悪かった場合は、すぐにハイキングを中止し、戻ります。ハイキングが初めての方でも安心してご参加ください！英語または日本語でたくさん話しましょう。

Agenda:
We will meet at 河内長野駅 at 09:20 and take a bus (which will depart at 09:30) for 30 minutes together to the starting point of 千早本道. We will start hiking at 10:00. You can have your lunch at the mountaintop. We may return to 河内長野駅 around 14:00. (*The time is just an estimation).
アジェンダ：
09:20に河内長野駅で集合し、バスで一緒に30分かけて千早本道の出発点まで行きます。10:00にハイキングを開始します。山頂で昼食を取ることができます。14:00頃に河内長野駅に戻る予定です。（*時間はあくまで目安です）

What you need to bring:

1. Enough water and anything to prevent heat illness. There will be vending machines at the bus stop.
2. Your lunch box or something to eat.
3. A handkerchief. If you sweat a lot like me, I recommend bringing a new top to change into.
4. Comfortable and waterproof shoes.
5. Using trekking poles while hiking can save approximately 20-25% of your body energy (for this event using them is optional).

持ち物：

1. 水と熱中症予防のためのもの。
2. 食べ物。
3. ハンカチ。
4. 快適で防水の靴。
5. ハイキング中にトレッキングポールを使用すると、体力を約20〜25％節約できます（このイベントでは使用は自由です）。

The event will be canceled in case of bad weather.
If you cannot attend after reserving a spot, please cancel your spot at least one day in advance.

予約した後に参加できなくなった場合は、少なくとも1日前にキャンセルしてください。
