Enjoy deep snow with a day trip to SKI JAM, largest resort in Fukui!

The snow has been falling! Let's ride together to the mountain with the most terrain to enjoy, SKI JAM. Plenty of courses for all levels. The ski pass you want is up to you and not included in the meet-up price. You can save some cash with the afternoon pass. There are other activities available for those not interested in skiing or snowboarding including sledding and hot spring spa (onsen).

If we leave Osaka nice and early we should arrive at the resort around 10am. We can decide together on an exact departure time but should leave around 5pm to arrive back in Osaka by 8pm or so. Please note that traffic and weather may vary and times are only rough estimates.

Mr. Shirahama, our friendly driver, is safe and experienced in snowy conditions. Gear may go on the top of the vehicle depending on room. Feel free to bring your music for the drive! We can make a stop at a highway rest area as desired. If you've never been to a rest stop in Japan, it's an experience in itself with some great, inexpensive food and interesting souvenirs for sale.

Pick-up location is flexible. We may be able to pick you up from your hotel or apartment in Osaka city! No need to carry heavy bags on public transport. Fee includes private transportation to and from the resort including rental costs, car insurance, gas, highway fees and parking, a Japanese-English speaking guide/translator, experienced driver, and great company!

Honestly, we just love to snowboard but dislike the impersonal and inflexible experience you get with big bus and tour companies. Feel free to personalize the trip and make it a memorable experience for everyone. Let's go!
