The famous cherry blossom season and Easter is getting closer day by day and what better way, is there, than to celebrate these two traditions while experiencing a new culture?!

NCBO will this year, for the last time, be hosting a Danish food event, the way the vikings themselves does it up in the North! As our very own Dane will be leaving Japan then don't miss out on this very LAST OPPORTUNITY to enjoy some traditional Danish dishes used for Easter in Denmark! There will be both cold and warm dishes included and even a small price to a lucky winner during the dessert!

The food will be presented the way it is in Denmark. This means that the cold dishes will be available before we bring in the warm ones. It will be served as a buffet so you can eat as much as you want to! We'll be baking fresh rye bread as well as white bread. Most of the things aren't sold in Japan so most of it is made from scratch.

Cold dishes:
Tuna mousse
Danish potato salad
Various coloured eggs
Shrimps with mayonnaise and eggs
Salami and ham
Danish Easter salad

Warm dishes:
Tarteletter with chicken soup
Fish fillet with homemade remoulade
Danish meat balls
Roasted potatoes
Danish homemade liver pate

Dessert: Homemade lemon sakura tart

12.30: Greetings
12.45: Cold dishes will be available
13.30: Tarteletter will be served
13.50: Other warm dishes will be available
14.30: Desserts and coffee
15.00: Finish

The entrance price includes food, desserts, 2 drinks, Danish akvavit, and a chance to win a small present from Denmark.
Price for this exceptional experience is only 3800 yen!

We might therefore be recording a little during the event but if you don't want to appear in the video then that won't be an issue either. We will ask everyone when you come if you want to be in the video or be excluded.

Most guests tend to come alone for our events so don't be put off if you have a friend that can't join this time. Also note that the amount of people joining is expected to be higher than the amount you see on this page as the event is promoted on different sites.

We will take measures against the spread of the virus and will therefore only allow up to 15 participants. We will make sure to ventilate the room, to keep the air clean. We also kindly ask everyone to disinfect their hands when entering the café and wear masks.

食事は、デンマーク流に、温かい料理の前に冷菜からふるまわさせていただきます。ビュッフェ様式ですので、好きなだけ召し上がっていただけます。
焼きたての白パンとライ麦パンも！日本ではなかなか手に入らないため、ほとんどゼロから作った自家製パンです。
