Open Source Fashion DC

Open Source Fashion started in New York City in April 2011.  We have cultivated a community of helpful innovators, and we are going to do the same in DC!

The idea of the OSF Meetup group is to bring like minded people together to openly share ideas, contacts, and expertise with each other for the benefit of the entire meetup community, and our individual projects. 

The continuous emergence of new technologies and products are constantly changing how businesses are being conducted.  Whether you represent a fashion brand, e-commerce portal, boutique, or fashion media outlet - we all have our own area of expertise.  Keeping up with all the tech tools, unique brands, and resources available to us can be daunting - however, it does not have to be!

Every 6-8 weeks we will organize an event that will make learning and collaborating enjoyable and light hearted. Events will include panel discussions, and time to meet new people.  Panel discussions will cover various aspects of business development, and will consist of "experts" in their respective fields (E-Commerce, Merchandising, Sourcing, Branding, Social Media, photographcy, etc).
