Bardo Thodol (Tibetan Book of the Dead)
Details
Bardo means "in between," or "intermediate state." The Bardo Thodol — "Liberation through the hearing in the Bardo" — is a profound teaching from the Tibetan tradition on how to prepare for a conscious death, and how to guide the consciousness through the many powerful and deep experiences happening in the transition time between death and next life, and how to use those experiences to achieve liberation.
It is one of the most precious Dharma teachings from Tibetan Buddhism. Osho calls the Bardo the greatest contribution Tibet has made to the world.
This seven-day intensive is not about death in a morbid sense. It is an invitation to die to the known — to old identities, fears, and contractions — and to awaken to the spacious, luminous nature of awareness that is always already present.
Each day includes guided meditation, contemplative inquiry, movement, and deep rest. Participants will work directly with the Tibetan teachings as interpreted through Osho's vision, making ancient wisdom immediately relevant to modern life.
