We are approaching an historic event in bitcoin's 10 year history. The first massive hash battle between miners is coming, and we will see Nakamoto Consensus play out on a scale never seen before.

The battle is scheduled to start thursday after 17.40 local time, but who knows when it really starts or when it ends. There are no rules in this game other than the economic incentives laid out by Satoshi Nakamoto a decade ago.

We'll all meet up friday nov 16 to observe and discuss the aftermath or the ongoing battle. What ruleset will win? Will we get a persistent split or not? And what about the value of BCH?

But wait, there's more!
Ole Andre Knutli from Bitruption will give a presentation of the global peer-to-peer marketplace to advertise, buy and sell cryptocurrencies they are building.

After that, either Thomas Bakketun or me from Bitcoin.no will present a paper we just published called "Incremental Block Synchronization". IBS is a method for nodes of the Bitcoin network to faster reach blockchain consensus. No changes in the consensus rules are required.

Looking forward to see both new and seasoned members.
