Short story meetup: "Illegal Alien" by Jumaana Abdu

Welcome to the last meetup of 2025! For this month's short story we will be reading "Illegal Alien" by Palestinian writer Jumaana Abdu. She is a new voice who made her debut last year with the novel "Translations". One of her favorite books is "The Left Hand of Darkness".

This meetup will take place in person at Bristol Pub in downtown Oslo. They serve a large selection of drinks and offer both snacks and food.
