Evaluating search in the era of semantic search and GenAI
With the rise of Generative AI in the last couple of years, what has become clear is that evaluation is king in this new paradigm.

During this talk I will look at the current approaches for search evaluation, either for user facing search or for RAG applications, you need a well-tuned search.
How do you gather data for evaluation? What kind of data? What tools can you use?
I will finish with a working demo of my current setup, and how I approach relevance tuning for semantic search.
