Talks:
Detecting GPS spoofing and jamming with Elastic
Den Norske Krigsforsikring (DNK) uses Elastic to keep track of the ships it insures, using vessel position data from several providers. Some of those positions are fake, because GPS signals are jammed or spoofed.
Alexander Brill, CTO of DNK, will show how his team finds them in Elastic. They use ES|QL and transforms to flag suspicious patterns, dashboards and maps to see what's going on, and alerting to act fast.
Speaker: Alexander Brill, CTO of Den Norske Krigsforsikring for Skib
8 years of Elastic Observability at a Nordic insurer
For the past eight years, Tieto has helped a large Nordic insurance company build and run its Elastic platform. It started as a central observability platform, grew to cover a long-term audit log archive, and moved from on-prem to the Cloud.
Tomáš Chytil, who leads Tieto's global observability team, will walk through that journey: what they built at each step, what changed along the way, and the lessons learned from running Elastic in a regulated industry.
Speaker: Tomáš Chytil, lead global observability team at Tieto
