Garlanding Oslofjord (100 miler)


Details
Planning a long day ride around Oslo Fjord. We will maintain a comfortable pace, and have a few scheduled stops, so that we can have a party on the bike. This could be a warm day, so good to carry enough water/fluids. We can also pick some on the way. Note that some of the route is on the roads, but we will try to take bike path whenever possible.
We will start at Tiger at Oslo Train station. Have broken it down into 3 parts -
Part 1 - Oslo S to Moss Ferry - 66 km - 3 hours (We will take the ferry to Horten) - Flat & Easy
Part 2 - Horten to Drammen - 50-60 km - 3 hours - Rolling terrain
Part 3 - Drammen to Oslo S - 46 km - 2.5 hours - Climbs, but easy pace
Total Distance: 160-170 kms approx

If it's your first time participating, the basic rules are
(i) You must have a helmet
(ii) we change the pace as needed
(iii) you are allowed to get off and push
(iv) you can stop and rest whenever you want or if you want to admire the view
(v) we modify the route real time depending on how everyone is feeling
(vi) all types of bikes (e-bikes, road bikes, hybrids, mountain bikes etc.) are welcome unless specifically stated otherwise
(vii) did we say you need a helmet?
and most importantly, you will need to bring a bicycle of course, and anything else you may need for a ride.
Please note that we're not trained tour or bicycle guides and attendance is at your own risk and responsibility, incl. any damages or accidents.
