Before the Concert: How to Listen to an Orchestra

Join us for a relaxed and entertaining morning talk led by our piano teacher Romolo Lanza, introducing the music we will hear at the Oslo Philharmonic concert on 23 October a 19:00 (you can get tickets on your own for the concert). We will explore the pieces at the piano, discover what to listen for in the orchestra, and learn how Prokofiev, Ravel and Stravinsky took us from Classical elegance to jazz and modernism.

The talk is suitable for adults and children aged 9 and above. Afterwards, there will be coffee, cookies and time for both children and adults to socialise.
